Your Gameweek 9 captain is likely to be a Manchester City player says @FFPundits_Drew – But which one?
Good day FPL folk and welcome back to our weekly Fantasy Football Captaincy Poll, where we give you, the FPL manager, an opportunity to cast your weekly captain pick anonymously and see which way your FPL peers are swaying.
In Gameweek 7, those who captained Harry Kane were left with a smug smile on their faces, whilst the 37% of us that awarded him the armband in Gameweek 8 are left licking our wounds.
Only 8% of overall FPL managers put their faith in Gabriel Jesus as their captain for Gameweek 8 – delivering 26 points, from 2 goals and 3 maximum bonus points.
Elsewhere, Man United Romelu Lukaku was captained by 23% of FPL bosses, but like Kane, failed to find the back of the net and left managers with just 4 points on the board.
Gameweek 9 offers fantasy managers some fixture tasty match-ups and even tastier captaincy candidates, with all eyes set to be on the Manchester City strikers and attacking midfielders.
The most transferred in striker (Jesus) and midfielders (Sterling, Silva, Sane and KDB) are creating havoc on the FPL transfer market, with prices set to rise rapidly as FPL bosses scramble to snap-up their Man City assets for a home tie against Burnley this Saturday.
Will it be Kane vs Liverpool, or Jesus vs Burnley?
Please cast your Gameweek 9 captaincy pick to the poll below and see how others have voted – once done, I’d love to hear your thoughts and continue the discussion Twitter via @FFPundits_Drew
