Rate My Team - FPL Gameweek 15

5:33pm Nov 30 2016

500,000 FPL managers have ditched Man City’s Sergio Aguero from their fantasy teams, but who will you replace him with?

Hello to all Fantasy Premier League managers and welcome to Rate My Team, Gameweek 15 – a week which is causing havoc in the FPL transfer market as managers continue to dump the suspended Sergio Aguero in their droves, but for whom?

Manchester City’s Yaya Toure returned to action in Gameweek 12, bagging a brace and 3 bonus points in their 1-2 win at Crystal Palace. Although Yaya played another full 90-minutes in their 1-2 win away to Burnley in Gameweek 13, he failed to replicated such returns for FPL managers, unfortunately.

Yaya Toure looks to be back in form for the current league favourites Man City and whilst still generously priced at just £7.7m and a TSB% of just 1.8%, could the Ivorian international be the key differential your Fantasy Premier League team is crying out for right now?

  1. Hi guys, please comment on my team for GW 9. I know I still need to get Collins out, but don’t want to minus points to get a defender out. Considering all out attack for GW 9 since my defence isn’t too strong and midfield has decent fixtures. Thanks!

  2. In midfield I have hazard, zaha, son, capoue and fletcher. I want a Liverpool player(firmino, coutinho ) and arsenal player(sanchez, walcott) . Who are the right choice to replace? I have 2.3m in bank and also thinking to sell ibrahimovic.I also have a hunch of hazard’s good return against Man U. Any thoughts….?

  3. Grant
    Holebas vertonghen amat
    Payet Sanchez firmino arnautovic Allen
    Aguero Austin
    Subs- Pickford deeney smith targett
Should I trade arnautovic for Walcott?? But inclined towards saving the ft as Stoke have decent fixtures ahead..thoughts??

  4. Right, so… my plan after GW9 is to drop Sanchez and Snodgrass for Firmino and Sterling judging from the teams upcoming fixtures. Any further thoughts? Funds are very tight… considering Deeney for Austin in the coming weeks too to release a small amount of funds. Thanks!

    1. It’s never nice to see Sanchez being taken out of a team, but, can’t argue with your logic and plan. If Sanchez goes crazy over the next few weeks then it’ll be hard to take him out, but, you cross that bridge when you come to it hey. What’s the thinking behind Firmino? So many good Liverpool midfield options, that’s for sure.

      1. Yeah, I’m just thinking that Sterling and Firmino combo will provide more points compared to Sanchez and Snodgrass.

Firmino… I want two Liverpool midfielders who score goals and assist for their decent run of fixtures. Mane is too expensive for the returns, and I’m unsure on Lallana. Milner maybe? Liverpool attack well, good chance they’ll get plenty of penalties.

  5. Hi, finished with 63 points in GW8. i feel i need to get rid of a few players.. any ideas on who can make way going into GW9?? players id like to replace are: stuani, capoue or even snodgrass… your thoughts??

  6. Bolasie not doing much damage for Everton and on FPL, so, I’d certainly have him on the shortlist for departure ASAP. Agree with what you’re saying regarding Zlatan, but, it reminds of Jamie Vardy and Mahrez last season. Each week passed and I said the same thing every week “they have to stop scoring soon”… at what point does an FPL manager draw the line? It’s a tricky one, that’s for sure.

  7. Hi, I’m trying to find a way to bring in De Bruyne in without losing Sanchez, Walcott, Aguero and Lukaku. Do you think its a good idea? or should I go for Liverpool midfielders?
I don’t mind not having a playing bench.
Also,I’m wondering whether I should go with Heaton or Pickford.

    1. I’d go with Heaton personally and hope he makes plenty of saves. Hard to get KDB in there without destroying your team I think. Sanchez and Walcott you should keep due to form and fixtures Sterling to KDB if you sell Rashford for a cheap sub but then again, your bench isn’t healthy so switching to a 3-5-2 wouldn’t work. Hard decision but, I think you’ll have to go without KDB.

    1. An Arsenal defender would be good, yes, buit maybe concentrate on the front end of your team for now as defender points are a lottery of late, don’t you think? Have you considered any of the differentials who appear to be racking up the points? Joe Allex, Charlie Austin, Junior Stanislas? Also, maybe it’s time to say bye bye to Zlatan and free up funds…

      1. Yeah, Zlatan is definitely on a shaky peg. But he’s the guy you sell after weeks of failure that inevitably scores a hat trick next gameweek…
Austin I’m not convinced by, difficult fixtures and Europa league. More tempted by Stanislas I think. Either for Bolasie or Capoue.
