The Captains Poll - FPL Gameweek 8

Tottenham’s Harry Kane looks set to dominate the Gameweek 8 Captains Poll says @FFPundits_Drew – All aboard?

Hello and welcome back to our weekly Fantasy Football Captaincy Poll, where we give you, the FPL manager, an opportunity to cast you weekly captain pick anonymously and see which way your FPL peers are swaying.

Fantasy bosses that captained Spurs’ Harry Kane in Gameweek 7 were left with ear-to-ear grins on their faces, as the England international bagged 2 goals and 3 bonus points in the early kick-off, returning a healthy 26 points for those who put their faith in him.

Big Rom amassed only 12 FPL points for those who captained him, scoring only 1 goal and receiving 0 bonus points against bottom of the table stragglers, Crystal Palace – many of us hoped for larger returns but, it wasn’t meant to be.

Having netted a hat-trick against Stoke in Gameweek 6, Alvaro Morata would have been a popular captaincy choice for Chelsea’s  Gameweek 8 clash with Crystal Palace, that’s for sure.

However, due to injury, the Spaniard is set to miss this fixture – but could Eden Hazard offer you similar returns instead?

Gameweek 8 offers only 2 or 3 standout captaincy candidates in my opinion, so is this the week to side with a captaincy differential, or, play safe with the in-form, Harry Kane once again?

Over to you, guys…
