The confirmed DOUBLE Gameweek for Manchester City is heavily dictating this weeks Captaincy Poll…
Yes, that’s right FPL people, our very first DOUBLE GAMEWEEK of the season is upon this week after Manchester City beat Huddersfield on Wednesday night in their FA Cup quarter-final replay.
Priced at a hefty £12.7m with a TSB (teams selected by) of just 18.0%, Sergio Aguero is likely to dominate this weeks poll due to the double gameweek confirmation, with Raheem Sterling (£7.8m) likely to be a popular pick also.
Looking away from the potential double gameweek, Manchester United’s home game against Bournemouth is likely to catch the eye of many FPL managers, as the in-form Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to silence many pundits, bagging 26 goals in 38 appearances for United this season.
Elsewhere, Harry Kane treat himself to a hat-trick, 1 assist and 3 bonus points verses Stoke City in Gameweek 27, giving those FPL bosses who owned him, a well-deserved 20 FPL points! Many congratulations to those bosses who gave him the armband
Cesc Fabregas (13) and Pedro (12) saturated the attacking returns of popular picks, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa in Gameweek 26 as Chelsea grinded out a 3-1 home win against Swansea.
Although Diego Costa bagged a goal, returning only 6 points for those of us who own him, an away fixture at The London Stadium in Gameweek 27 could see the Spaniard a popular pick in this weeks captaincy poll.
As always, we ask that you cast your Gameweek 27 captaincy selection to the poll below and be sure to reach out to us on Twitter with any comments or questions you might have about your teams and transfers.
NB: If you’re casting your vote via a smart phone, please tap the player’s name twice, or until they have a green mark next to the left of their name – it gets stuck sometimes 🙂
