A few days after Gameweek 24 ends and we’re straight into Gameweek 25 of the Fantasy Premier League

Good evening to all Fantasy Premier League managers and welcome back to our Pundits’ Team article series in which we will upload and discuss our FPL team, each and every week and go over any transfer or changes we make to our squad.

Since last posting our team via the website, we’ve been busy climbing the ranks and are currently sat 44,952 in the World with a points total of 1351 – Whilst I’m sure many of you are way above us in the rankings, we’re still aiming for a top 10,000 finish, however making weekly decisions between a team of managers can prove to be tricky, with so many different opinions and options on offer.

Last time out – Gameweek 24

A decent enough week yet we came in just below average despite three double digit hauls from Alli, Kane and captain Aguero. The average was very high at 60 so we’re happy enough with our score for the week in all honesty.

We now sit just outside the top 40,000 places which isn’t a bad position at all when you consider that we still have all of our chips left to play, including our second wildcard.

This week – Gameweek 25

Transfers

OUT – Jonny Evans

IN – Cesar Azpilicueta

We expect both Romelu Lukaku and Dele Alli to be passed fit this week so our only serious injury concern was Jonny Evans who looks set to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

We toyed with the idea of bringing in a Southampton defender but in the end we decided to plump for Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta.

Chelsea have a decent run of fixtures on the horizon and managed to keep out the lethal Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney combination away from home in Gameweek 24 so he looks worthy of investment right now.

Captain – Sergio Aguero

Who else? The secret man crush of many FPL managers (including Leon), the phenomenal Argentine gets the nod, fresh from picking up the league’s player of the month award.

Harry Kane, Alexis Sanchez and Dele Alli are all worthy contenders, but you just can’t back against the formidable Aguero right now…..can you?

We’d love to see how your teams are shaping up ahead of the weekend’s Gameweek 25 Fantasy Premier League action so, be sure to send in your screenshots or comment below.
