Under The Radar - FPL Double Gameweek 37

Fantasy Premier League players which have slipped Under The Radar ahead of FPL Double Gameweek 37

After a very indifferent Gameweek 36 for most FPL managers, we look ahead with hope and ambition for Double Gameweek 37, in what is the most anticipated gameweek of the season.

This week, I will give you 5 players that I believe can have a big impact on the upcoming double gameweek and hopefully give you food for thought when making your FPL transfers ahead of Fridays 19:00pm deadline.

This week I have decided to focus on the double gameweek for picks and will only choose players with a 5% TSB (Teams selected by) or less.

Willy Cabellero – Manchester City

  • £4.8m
  • 3.3%
  • 6
  • Leicester (H) & West Brom (H)

A player that not many managers would of thought had any chance of starting in the Manchester City team at the start of the season, Willy has shown he can be the number 1 at City for a long time to come.

With two very winnable fixtures for city and the race for fourth place still on, Willy could be that differential that you put between your sticks that can earn you them precious clean sheet points towards the end of the season.

Jordan Ayew – Swansea

  • £5.0m
  • 0.5%
  • 5
  • Sunderland (A)

With many fantasy managers looking to take out the more premium forwards to afford the more reliable midfielders such as Eden Hazard or Alexis Sanchez, bosses will be looking for that 3rd striker who can score them points from under the radar.

Now I really wouldn’t blame any fantasy manager for looking past this pick but Ayew has three assists in his last three games.

At a price of just £5.0m and two very kind fixtures coming up, do not dismiss Jordan as the striker that you need in your team, given the fact that we all know he can easily grab an assist for Gylfi or Llorente, especially with a TSB of just 0.4%.

Yohan Benalouane – Leicester City

  • £4.0m
  • 0.9%
  • 6
  • Man City (A) & Spurs (H)

When you think of the Leicester defence from last season most of you will be thinking about the Huth’s or the Morgan’s or the Fuch’s, so I presume not many of you would have even looked at Yohan as a player that could have been in your fantasy team at any time of the season, but with the injury to Wes Morgan, he could be that player who is vital for any team towards the end of the season.

With two fixtures against two very good attacking teams, I would not blame any manager for not thinking twice before putting this player in, but at a bargain-basement price of just of £4.0m, why not end your season with a brave gamble?

Junior Stanislas – Bournemouth

  • £4.6m
  • 0.9%
  • 9
  • Burnley (H)

When you think of Bournemouth midfielders most of you will be thinking of the main bargain this season Josh King, but Junior is just coming back to form at the right time and he could be the man to earn you some vital points over the coming gameweeks.

With a 9 point haul against Stoke and some very kind fixtures coming up, why not put Stanislas in now before the potential bandwagon and save yourself some funds for the more premium players such as the Kane’s or the Sanchez’s?

Kieran Gibbs – Arsenal

  • £4.7m
  • 1.4%
  • 13
  • Stoke (A) & Sunderland (H)

A player that is currently flourishing in the new transformed Arsenal team, Gibbs is playing some of the best football he has played in a long time and is now starting to look like a valuable asset for any fantasy football team.

With Arsenal still challenging for the fourth spot and having two very winnable fixtures against two teams that have nothing to play for, why not put Kieran into your team now as a very cheap way into a quite reliable Arsenal defence?
