The cash-rich Parisian side have flexed their muscles in the transfer window this summer. PSG finished second behind Monaco last season after winning 4 consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

They also exited the Champions League in an epic encounter with Barcelona last season. Unai Emery will have more expected of him this year after a record-breaking window.

Star Man – Neymar  [£11.0m]

Neymar is the star attraction at PSG right now, after the Brazilian forward made a £198m move to PSG from Barcelona.

Big things are expected from Neymar after lighting up the Nou Camp, scoring 105 goals in 186 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona.

The Brazilian is about to enter his footballing prime and surrounded by the likes of Matteo Verratti, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappé at the Parc Des Princes, the club will expect to go far in the competition.

One to Watch – Kylian Mbappe [£9.0m]

After the club signed Neymar, PSG announced the loan signing of Kylian Mbappé with the obligation to buy him next summer for £165m.

The French international winger will become the second most expensive player in history.

Last season, Kylian Mbappé hit 15 goals and created 8 assists as he helped Monaco to the Ligue 1 title – Mbappe also hit 6 champions league goals as Monaco made the semi-final stages.

A hefty price tag and a lot to prove for this young man, but likely to be one of the most popular picks on the UEFA Champions League fantasy football game.

Predicted Lineup:  Areola; Meunier, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Berchiche; Motta, Rabiot, Verratti; Mbappe, Cavani, Neymar.

FC Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are the dominant team in the Bundesliga, winning the title for the last 5 seasons running. Carlo Ancelotti has since taken over from Guardiola and has continued the winning tradition of the club.

The Munich team is a well-oiled machine and with goal threats all over the pitch, with Thiago Alcantara pulling the strings in midfield, they represent a serious threat to any team in the competition and are expected to go far.

Star Man – Robert Lewandowski  [£11.0m]

The Polish star has developed into one of the best strikers in the world in his time at the Allianz Arena.

Last season, he scored 30 goals in 33 league games for the title winners – a massive goal threat and also a serious contender for the armband every gameweek.

Lewandowski has it all; good in the air, holds the ball up well, great with his feet and has amazing composure – an absolutely must for your UEFA Champions League fantasy teams.

One to Watch – James Rodriguez [£8.0m]

Rodriguez made the big-money move to Real Madrid after a stellar World Cup for Colombia.

It never really worked out for the Colombian star at the Bernabeu, forcing him to make a loan move to Munich in the summer in search of game-time.

A very naturally gifted and creative player, surrounded by the likes of Robben, Ribery and Lewandowski, the assists are likely to flow.

Rodriguez is also a massive threat from dead-ball situations in this team could be a steal at just £8.0m.

Predicted Lineup:  Neuer; Kimmich, Hummels, Sule, Rafinha; Rudy, James, Thiago; Robben, Ribery, Lewandowki.

Celtic F.C.

The Brendan Rodgers revolution continues at Celtic Park. After going a full domestic season unbeaten in the league, fans will be hoping Rodgers can continue his magic and conjure up a memorable Champions League campaign.

Star Man – Moussa Dembele [£6.5m]

The young French forward has been a pivotal player for Celtic since signing from Fulham. The young forward had his break-through season last year, scoring 17 goals in just 29 league appearances.

Dembele was that impressive last season, that Antonio Conte was rumoured to be getting Chelsea to bid for his services – Celtic soon slapped a £40 million price tag on him to deter bidders.

If Dembele continues to improve, a big move is surely round the corner. He’s out for the first round of group games with an injury but expected to be back for round two so, one to keep an eye on.

One to Watch – Scott Sinclair [£6.5m]

Big things were expected of the English winger early on in his career, but after flourishing at Swansea, Scott Sinclair’s career stalled after making a big money move to Manchester City.

Sinclair has since been a big hit at Celtic Park since his arrival, scoring 35 goals in 61 games for the reigning Scottish champions.

Lurking on the wing and looking to cut inside he is always a goal threat. If Celtic are to progress they will need a big campaign from the Englishman.

Predicted Lineup:  Gordon; Lustig, Simunovic, Bitton, Tierney;
Brown, Armstrong, Ntcham, McGregor, Sinclair; Griffiths.

R.S.C. Anderlecht

Anderlecht is a club with a rich history which boasts 34 league titles and have never finished outside the top six in the Belgian top flight since 1947.

They face a massive task in trying to navigate their way through Group B, having been drawn with heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

It’s likely that Anderlecht will be fighting it out for 3rd place in the group with Celtic, but with attacking football on the menu in Brussels, they may well pull off a shock surprise.

Star Man – Lukasz Teodorczyk  [£7.5m]

Teodorczyk spent last season on loan at Anderlecht from Dynamo Kiev, where the Polish international scored 30 goals in 53 appearances – this was enough for the Belgian side to stump up £4 million pounds for his services this summer.

After firing Anderlecht to the league title, a lot will rest on the Poles shoulders to secure European football after Christmas by getting them through the Group Stage.

One to Watch – Henry Onyekuru [£6.0m]

The young Nigerian striker announced his arrival on the European scene last season for Eupen, smashing 22 goals in 38 appearances.

This performance was enough to earn him a move to Everton who immediately loaned him to Anderlecht for the coming season.

This will no doubt will be a learning-curve season for the youngster, but with pace and technique to burn, could offer Anderlecht something different in attack.

Predicted Lineup:  Boeckx; Najar, Spajic, Deschact, Obradovic; Trebel, Dedoncoker, Hanni; Bruno, Onyekuru, Teodorczyk.
