All eyes on Manchester City midfielders in their Super Sunday Premier League trip to Huddersfield

Good day fantasy football managers and welcome back to my weekly Core 4 Picks for the Premier League’s Super Sunday action.

This week, I’ve struggled to take my eyes off fantasy assets from Manchester City, with a matchup against Huddersfield at 4pm looking promising for plenty of goals.

As per usual, the 4 Core Picks in this article will feature in my Starting 11 daily fantasy team for Sunday’s Gameweek 13 contests.

With the FPL Gameweek now closed, why not join us on the Starting 11 app today and create your ultimate Sunday lineup, without any price or budget restrictions?

Alexis Sanchez vs. Burnley (A)

Is Sanchez staking a claim for himself as a Fantasy asset again?

The Chilean had 5 shots vs Spurs, 4 of them on target, he should have probably scored a hattrick after missing 2 big chances!

Burnley may have raised some eyebrows lately after an impressive 3 clean sheets on the bounce, however by allowing on average 17.4 shots per game, the statistics suggest that they have the weakest defence in the Premier League.

If Burnley allow this many attempt on goal on Sunday will they be punished?

Mesut Ozil has created 34 goal scoring chances in the Premier League this season, more than any other player, if he continues to provide these levels of service I expect Sanchez to convert those chances

Leroy Sané vs. Huddersfield Town (A)

On Monday, Pep Guardiola confirmed Sane’s importance to the team; “Sane has to go wide [now], which is why they [Aguero and Jesus] don’t play together.”

For me, this reiterates that the German goes straight into your line-up vs Huddersfield on Sunday – he was even rested in the midweek UCL match for good measure!

Highly likely to add to those 6 goals and 6 assists this season, Sane is a must own player for Sunday’s Gameweek 13 clash with Huddersfield.

Kevin De Bruyne vs. Huddersfield Town (A)

The Belgian midfielder has 3 goals and 6 assists to his name – including the screamer her scored vs Leicester in Gameweek 12.

Huddersfield have conceded 17 goals this season and look like they are struggling at this stage of the season – embarrassingly conceding 4 on the road to Bournemouth in Gameweek 12.

Manchester City have scored a staggering 40 goals since August and with rotation looming for Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, De Bruyne looks sets to start each week and rack up those assists, as well as providing a goal threat of his own.

How many will City score on Sunday against Huddersfield in Gameweek 13? Well, for me, I think this could get ugly for David Wagner & Co, with 4+ on the cards for City.

Leighton Baines vs. Southampton (A)

Embed from Getty ImagesLeighton Baines was my defensive differential pick last week and rewarded fantasy managers with a goal, scored from the penalty spot.

Since the sacking of manager Ronald Koeman, Baines has been released and is stretching his legs inside the opposition’s half.

The signs were promising for Baines during Gameweek 10 and since then, has gone on to score 2 goals and provided 1 assist in his last 2 games.

Everton’s opponents this week are Southampton – a team who have scored only 9 goals this season.

Currently averaging only 2.8 shots on target per game, I think Baines owners will be capitalising on some clean-sheet points on Sunday at St Mary’s, with a strong chance of attacking returns.
