Fantasy Football Players To Own in Double Gameweek 25

9:00am Feb 19 2021

The Premier League action is getting heated as teams fight to achieve the goals set at the beginning of the season. EPL fans and punters on the Betway app following the action have been treated to strange results and surprise performances.

These results have also given Fantasy Football managers a challenging task. With that said, here are Fantasy Football players you should own.

It’s a Mini-Double Gameweek

Gameweek 25 will be a mini-double gameweek with only Southampton and Leeds playing twice. This will be the proverbial calm before a storm, as many teams will have two fixtures in the coming week.

This week, it will be best to give precedence to players from Southampton and Leeds. However, the two sides have been on the losing side in the recent past. Their defense lines look shaky, but there are three attackers from these sides that are worth checking out this week.

Danny Ings

Club: Southampton

Price: 8.4 million GBP

Points: 89

Ings is an FPL legend after having a remarkable 2019/20 season. Despite his price shooting in pre-season, he has not matched those heroic performances. His poor form can be attributed to his team’s poor performances and injury issues.

Nevertheless, Ings is set to become very popular shortly as Southampton could have three consecutive double gameweeks because of their fixture backlog. Moreover, Ings also seems to have rediscovered his form after back-to-back strikes against Wolves in the FA Cup and the EPL. This will give him a confidence boost as they come up against Chelsea and Leeds this week.

Club: Leeds

Price: 5.3 million GBP

Points: 80

If you have been wagering on the EPL on Betway, you know that Raphinha has had a good run of games. He scored 13, five, nine, six, and five points in his last five games in that order. You should expect him to continue that run in the next two fixtures in gameweek 25 against Wolves and Southampton.

Despite his recent performances, his price remains a generous 5.3GBP and is owned by less than 5% of FPL managers. If that remains till the deadline on Friday, he could be an excellent differential.

Lewis Dunk

Club: Brighton

Price: 4.9 million GBP

Points: 81

If you have been ignoring Brighton & Hove Albion, then you should know that they have not lost a game in their last six and have conceded only one goal in the same period.

Lewis Dunk has been their outstanding player averaging 7.3 points per game in his last games. He also scored a goal in the game against Burnley. Furthermore, only Harry Maguire (22) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (30) have more shots on goal. He offers many points at both ends of the pitch when they come up against a struggling Crystal Palace on Monday.

Patrick Bamford

Club: Leeds

Price: 6.8 million GBP

Points: 132

Bamford is an excellent short-term and long-term asset. Harry Kane is the only striker to outscore him with 153 points. In the past four gameweeks, he has fired 12 shots and created up to seven chances for his teammates.

The FPL does not have an essential player, but he is the second most owned player and has two good games coming up. Bamford is every FPL manager’s dream player at the moment.

Pedro Neto

Club: Wolves

Price: 6.6 million GBP

Points: 105

Neto has repaid his manager’s faith in him by putting in excellent performances. He scored a beautiful individual effort against Southampton. He is the club’s FPL asset and a Betway punters’ favorite after scoring five goals and providing six assists.

In the game against Leeds, his threat on the break could reap plenty of rewards.
