Everton’s Richarlison continues to shine for his club, whilst delivering healthy and consistent FPL returns for his trusted owners.

A quick recap of last week’s series – My Hot Shot pick Djibril Sidibé recorded clean-sheet points after helping Everton keep Brighton at bay in their 1-0 win at Goodison.
Stray Shot Marcus Rashford justified my Hold call, starring in Man Utd’s 4-0 win over Norwich and rewarding patient owner with 2 goals plus 3 bonus points.
This week, ahead of Gameweek 23’s fixture schedule, I (@ohheyystranger) will discuss two players who are a hot topic of conversation amongst the Fantasy Premier League community.
Richarlison – Everton
£8.1 | 13.2% owned | last FPL fixture – 10pts vs. Brighton (H)
Richarlison’s match-winning goal against Brighton in Gameweek 22 gave the Everton midfielder his 3rd consecutive attacking return in as many weeks.
The goal brings his season tally to 8 for the season and he has been involved in 3 of 5 of his team’s goals since Carlo Ancelloti officially took over the reins in Gameweek 19.
The Brazilian was paired up top with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and took more shots (5) than his strike partner, scoring from one of his two shots on target.
Of the current top five FPL midfielders, Richarlison has averaged 7.67 points in the last 3 gameweeks – higher than Sadio Mane (7.33), Salah (6.33) and Maddison (4.67).
Over that period, Richarlison completed 4 key passes and attempted 9 shots.
Richarlison and Everton next face West Ham at the London Stadium – a team who conceded 13 shots in their 1-0 loss to Sheffield United over the weekend, and a total of 29 in the last 3 matches.
The next 3 fixtures for Everton are: West Ham (A), Newcastle (H), Watford (A)
His consistent recent form and upcoming fixtures have caught the eye of around 100,000 FPL bosses at the time of writing, who have decided to transfer him IN to their squads for Gameweek 23.
> Verdict: BUY
Raul Jimenez – Wolves
£7.5m | 18.1% owned | last FPL fixture – 2pts vs. Newcastle (H)
Raul Jimenez failed to add to his 8 goals as he blanked for the second consecutive gameweek as Wolves struggled yet again to register a win since Gameweek 19.
Jimenez ended the match with 3 shots on goal – including an effort which forced a stunning save from Martin Dubravka in the Newcastle goal.
After his goal and assist in Wolves’ win over champions Man City in Gameweek 19, Jimenez has managed just 1 shot on target in 2 matches, from 7 attempts on goal.
Over the same period, Danny Ings (14), Gerard Deulofeu (12), Tammy Abraham (11) and Jordan Ayew (11) have outscored the Mexican (4) for FPL points.
Jimenez is also currently ranked 8th in the FPL form table for strikers and is behind Traore overall.
Wolves’ next opponent, Southampton, have conceded only 2 goals in their last four matches (Leicester and Crystal Palace) and in their shock win over Leicester, the Saints managed to limit the hosts to only 5 shots on goal.
Assuming Wolves manage to successfully navigate Southampton, their fixture gets trickier after that, including trips to Liverpool and Leicester.
Again, this week I urge caution and the call is to Sell, but if there is no immediate necessity to get rid, saving the transfer could be beneficial ahead of Gameweek 24.
As things stand at the time of writing and publishing, Jimenez is now the second most transferred OUT player this week, with over 105,000 bosses cutting him from their Fantasy Premier League lineups.
Next fixtures for Wolves are Southampton (A), Liverpool (H), Man Utd (A)
> Verdict: SELL
