Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to be replaced by Manchester City’s Leroy Sane for Double Gameweek 25
Eden Hazard has been frustrating to own over the last 5 Gameweeks, where he’s been without a goal and has only registered 1 assist.
The Belgian has produced a league-high total of 14 attempted assists in that time and there’s a home game against bottom-of-the-league Huddersfield up next but Chelsea just appear to have downed tools at the moment; they’ve failed to score in 3 of the last 4 Gameweeks.
Ahead of the Double Gameweek, a Man City midfielder is high on the list of priorities. Leroy Sané has started in all but one game since Gameweek 13, producing more goals (5) and more assists (6) than any teammate since then.
No transfer has been made yet, however, as we await news on Paul Pogba’s potential injury, sustained in the dying moments of the draw with Burnley.
As always ladies and gents, we have provided you with a video version of this article, which you can find above for your viewing pleasure.

Here’s how the team looks ahead 0f Saturday’s 11:30am (GMT) Double Gameweek 25 FPL deadline:
Wolves kept their 6th clean sheet of the season last Gameweek, ending a run of 6 games without one.
Only Brighton (9) and Fulham (10) have conceded more goals (8) in the last 4 Gameweeks but only Man City, Everton (each 4) and Spurs (3) have conceded fewer big chances (5) in that time.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was said to be “getting closer and closer” in Jürgen Klopp’s last update but if the right-back does miss out once again, it will be Sead Kolasinac replacing him from the bench.
Arsenal face a tough trip to Man City but the Bosnian has provided 5 assists in his 13 league appearances this season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka comes into the team, as Crystal Palace welcome Fulham to Selhurst Park. The Eagles have shipped 4 goals across their last 6 home matches, with only Chelsea (2) conceding fewer.
Felipe Anderson is fortunate to keep his place, following 5 consecutive blanks and he stays primarily to help navigate Gameweek 27, when Chelsea, Brighton, Man City and Everton are without a fixture.
However, Liverpool have only kept one clean sheet in their last 5 league matches, conceding 7 goals, so there is a small glimmer of hope.
Everton have home fixtures against Wolves and Man City in Gameweek 25 and Richarlison has scored 5 goals in 10 games at Goodison Park this season, producing more shots inside the box (28) during home matches than any other midfielder.
Paul Pogba is doubtful with a thigh injury but there’s no denying his form, if available for the trip to Leicester. No player has taken more shots on target (10) or from inside the box (15) in the last 4 Gameweeks.
But Leicester earned a draw with Liverpool midweek and have only conceded 11 goals in 7 games against the ‘top six’ this season, at an average of 1.6 per game.
Mohamed Salah has been clinical in the last 4 Gameweeks, scoring 3 times from only 5 shots on target.
West Ham have conceded 9 times over the same period, with only Fulham (10) shipping more goals, while no team faced more efforts on target than the Hammers (26).
Leroy Sané is likely to complete the midfield, ahead of Man City’s two fixtures in Gameweek 25, where they’ll host Arsenal before going away to Everton.
Since Gameweek 13, the German ranks 1st amongst teammates for shots inside the box (19) and on target (12), while only Sterling has matched his total of 21 attempted assists.
Marcus Rashford has fired 10 efforts on target in the last 4 Gameweeks; joint-highest in the league, alongside Pogba.
Only Aubameyang and King (each 13) have taken more shots inside the box during that period, amongst forwards.
Roberto Firmino is likely to keep his place in the team despite the option to upgrade to Sergio Agüero, over fears of rotation for the Argentine and with West Ham and Bournemouth up next for Liverpool.
Only King (7), Rashford and Pogba (each 10) have taken more shots on target than the Brazilian in the last 4 Gameweeks.
With the Double Gameweek, Richarlison could be a differential captain for Gameweek 25 but it’s hard to ignore a Man City option as they look to bounce back from the defeat to Newcastle and it will most likely be Leroy Sané taking the armband here.
