The Watchlist series is back to identify some key players who caught the eye in Gameweek 10, ahead of the upcoming Fantasy Premier League schedule.

Here are three future transfer targets ahead of Gameweek 11 for both the @FFPundits and @_FPLTips teams.

As always, we have provided you with both a video and written version of our Gameweek 11 Watchlist preview.

Riyad Mahrez – 8.3M | 5.5% owned

Next 3 fixtures: Fulham (H), Man United (A), West Brom (H)

FPLTips Watchlist - Gameweek 11 - Mahrez

Manchester City ended their relative goal drought with a familiar 5-0 win over Burnley at the Etihad, as Riyad Mahrez netted a hat-trick.

No player in Gameweek 10 can better his 3 shots on target, while only McBurnie (6) has taken more than his 5 shots in the box.

The Algerian has also managed more touches in the opposition’s box than any other player – with 11.

Whilst there’s always a rotation risk with Man City assets, Mahrez has been largely first-choice in the Premier League this season; starting 7 of their last 8 matches.

Amassing 4 goals and 1 assist in that time (GW3-10), the 29-year-old has averaged 6.4 points per game.

No teammate has fired as many as his 13 shots in the box or landed as many as his 10 on target.

The midweek Champions League clash with Porto could give us an indication of Guardiola’s rotation plans for Fulham’s visit to the Etihad in Gameweek 11.

Callum Wilson – 6.5M | 13.4% owned

Next 3 fixtures: Blank GW11, West Brom (H), Leeds (A)

FPLTips Watchlist - Gameweek 11 - Callum Wilson

UPDATE: Moments after finishing the recording for this video, news had broken that the game between Aston Villa and Newcastle has indeed been postponed.

Callum Wilson and Joelinton combined for two late goals to steal victory for Newcastle over Crystal Palace.

The Englishman scored with his only effort on target in the match, while both Benteke (3) and Joelinton (5) fired more than his 2 shots in the box.

So far this season, 12 FPL forwards have taken more than Wilson’s 18 shots but his 5.99 expected goals figure (xG) ranks 5th.

Only Calvert-Lewin (11), Bamford (12) and Vardy (13) have had more than his 10 big chances.

The 28-year-old has scored 3 penalties, with only Salah (4) and Vardy (5) converting more times from the spot.

But interestingly, 6 teams have been awarded more penalties than Newcastle this season.

The Magpies have a favourable schedule over the next 4 Gameweeks, including home matches against West Brom and Fulham.

But there are reports that a number of their first-team players are currently self-isolating, so it’s definitely worth waiting for updates on that situation before making a move for Wilson.

Jack Harrison – 5.5M | 1.5% owned

Next 3 fixtures: Chelsea (A), West Ham (H), Newcastle (H)

FPLTips Watchlist - Gameweek 11 - Jack Harrison

Leeds secured a 1-0 win at Everton as Jack Harrison claimed his third assist of the season.

The 24-year-old was unfortunate not score himself after striking the post in the first half.

No player has had more than his 2 big chances in Gameweek 10 so far, while only Bruno Fernandes (0.96) and Mahrez (1.09) can better his 0.85 expected goals figure (xG).

But it is worth noting that Harrison left the field in the 89th minute with a knock, which may need to be assessed ahead of the visit to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Over the last 4 Gameweeks, the Leeds midfielder has contributed 10 attempted assists; ranking behind only Matheus Pereira, De Bruyne and Ziyech – each on 11.

His tally of 4 big chances created throughout the season can only be beaten by Grealish (7), Fernandes, James Rodriguez (each 6) and De Bruyne (5).

Leeds have some favourable fixtures to end the calendar year, including home ties with West Ham, Newcastle and Burnley.
