Fantasy Premier League players from Manchester United, Liverpool and Leeds United top FPLTips’ Watchlist for Gameweek 15 and 16.
The Watchlist series is back to identify some key players who caught the eye in Gameweek 13 and 14, ahead of the upcoming Fantasy Premier League schedule.
As always, we have provided you with both a video and written version of our Gameweek 15/16 Watchlist preview.
But here are three transfer targets for the Gameweek 16 wildcard team, with a focus on the upcoming Double Gameweek 19:
Please note that all players prices, bookmaker odds from betway88 and ownership percentages were correct at the time of recording and writing.
Anthony Martial – 8.7M | 3.8% owned
Next 3 fixtures: Leicester (A), Wolves (H), Aston Villa (H)
Manchester United put six past Leeds to climb up to third in the table, with Martial playing a direct hand in three of the goals.
After a frustrating start to the season, the Frenchman now has 1 goal and 4 assists in the last 2 Gameweeks, where he’s amassed 22 FPL points.
His total of 4 big chances created over that period is twice that of any other player, according to the stats on Betway88.
The 25-year-old has been unfortunate not to add further to his goals tally in that time, racking up a league-best 4 big chances.
Only Vardy (9) can better his 8 shots in the box, while only Salah, Firmino (each 6) and El Ghazi (9) have landed more than his 5 shots on target.
United’s Double Gameweek 19 includes a trip to Fulham, while Wolves, Aston Villa and Sheffield Utd are the next three sides to visit Old Trafford.
Andrew Robertson – 7.3M | 20.4% owned
Next 3 fixtures: West Brom (H), Newcastle (A), Southampton (A)
Liverpool were back to their relentless best in the 7-0 win over Crystal Palace, which saw Robertson set up Firmino to earn his 5th assist of the season.
No defender can better his 4 attempted assists during Gameweek 14 so far.
With 3 assists in the last 6 Gameweeks, the Scotland international has averaged 6.2 points per game.
Only Justin and Digne can equal his tally of 3 big chances created in that time, while no player in his position has provided as many as his 15 attempted assists.
The Reds have kept 3 clean sheets in the last 6 Gameweeks; only Man City (4) have earned more.
The two teams rank joint-best for goals conceded in that time, each shipping just 3.
Liverpool have given up 15 big chances, however, with only West Brom, Sheff Utd (each 18) and Leeds (22) faring worse in that respect.
Stuart Dallas – 4.7M | 9.3% owned
Next 3 fixtures: Burnley (H), West Brom (A), Spurs (A)
Dallas expertly picked out the top corner from the edge of the box to give Leeds a second consolation goal in their defeat at Old Trafford.
Having begun the game at right-back, a tactical switch in the second-half saw him move into his more dangerous midfield position.
He now trails only Zouma (4) for goals this season amongst defenders – with 3.
Throughout the season, no player in his position can better his 1.84 expected goals figure (xG) or his tally of 9 shots on target.
Only Maguire (19) has attempted more than his 18 shots in total.
Although Leeds have conceded the joint-highest number of goals (13) in the last 6 Gameweeks, they have also kept 2 clean sheets, according to the Betway88 stats.
They face back-to-back home matches against Brighton and Southampton in Double Gameweek 19, with a relatively kind run of fixtures either side.
