The Watchlist series is back to identify some key players who caught the eye in Gameweek 28 and 29, ahead of the upcoming Fantasy Premier League schedule.

As always, we have provided you with both a video and written version of our Gameweek 30 Watchlist preview.

Here are three transfer targets to prepare for the upcoming Gameweek:

Please note that all players prices and ownership percentages were correct at the time of recording and writing earlier in the week.

Kelechi Iheanacho – 5.7M | 2.9% owneed

Next 3 fixtures: Man City (H), West Ham (A), West Brom (H)

Kelechi Iheanacho - FPLTips - Gameweek 30

Leicester reached the FA Cup semi-final with a 3-1 win over Man Utd, as in-form striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice.

That performance comes on the back of him netting 5 goals in his last four Premier League appearances, where he’s averaged 9.3 FPL points per game.

The 24-year-old ranks top for big chances in that time (GW26-29) – with 7, while only Kane has attempted more shots (20 to 15) or landed more than his 7 efforts on target (with 8).

But he may soon find himself with more competition for a starting place, with the injured Barnes and Maddison not far away from returns.

The Foxes rank 2nd only to the league-leaders for goals (9) and big chances (13) in their respective last four league matches.

After their meeting with Man City in Gameweek 30, they welcome West Brom, Crystal Palace and Newcastle to the King Power over the five Gameweeks that follow.

Diogo Jota – 6.7M | 5.0% owned

Next 3 fixtures: Arsenal (A), Aston Villa (H), Leeds (A)

Diogo Jota - FPLTips - Gameweek 30

Now back from injury, Diogo Jota helped Liverpool get back to winning ways in their most recent Premier League game, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win against his former club.

The Portugal international was in fine form prior to his enforced absence, bagging 4 goals in five games between Gameweeks 6 and 10.

He ranked joint-third amongst midfielders for shots on target during that spell – with 7; only behind Grealish and Bruno Fernandes (each 8).

Amongst teammates, only Firmino could better his 9 shots in the box or his 4 big chances, while only Robertson created as many big chances as his 2.

The Reds have managed just 3 goals in their last four matches but have fashioned 8 big chances; trailing only five teams.

They have arguably the easiest run of any side to end the season, travelling to Leeds, West Brom and Burnley and hosting Newcastle, Southampton and Crystal Palace, over their final 8 matches.

Pedro Neto – 5.7M | 6.9% owned

Next 3 fixtures: West Ham (H), Fulham (A), Sheff United (H)

Pedro Neto - FPLTips - Gameweek 30

Wolves have largely struggled in front of goal this season but Pedro Neto has stepped up as their main man, in the absence of Raul Jimenez.

The 21-year-old has played a direct hand in 12 of their 28 Premier League goals (5 goals, 7 assists).

He ranks top amongst teammates for shots, in total (56), from inside the box (29) and on target (20), as well as for touches in the opposition’s box (102).

Amongst all FPL midfielders, only Mount (69), De Bruyne (70), Grealish (75) and Bruno Fernandes (82) have provided more than his 57 attempted assists and he ranks joint-7th for big chances created – with 8.

But it’s his fixtures over the next 6 Gameweeks that primarily bring him into consideration as a wildcard option.

Wolves host Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Brighton over that spell, amongst away trips to Fulham and West Brom; all teams that currently sit in the ‘bottom six’.
