I, @FFPundits_Drew am pleased to announce that our friends at Starting 11 are giving us £50.00 in cash to give away each Gameweek, via a free-entry Mini League on their iOS and Android app game, Starting 11.

We will also be teaming up with FPLtips again this season, as they will be hosting the Mini League each week on the Starting 11 platform and offering it to their YouTube followers also, so stay tuned for video content on this free offering each and every week.

Before we tell you more about the weekly contest, rules and how to get involved, be sure to download the FREE iOS or Android app and register – it takes less than 60 seconds.

Each week, I (@FFPundits_Drew) will be entering a team in to the £50.00 Freeroll on Starting 11, but will also show you guys my lineup in advance and offer a few thoughts on which premium and differential players i’m considering.

Once you’ve installed the app and are logged in, please head over to the ‘Mini-League’ tab and there you will see FPLTips’ contest for Sunday the 22nd of September.

As we’ve said above – both the iOS and Android apps are free to download, and the £50.00 Freeroll contest is free to join and play so, there’s nothing to lose.

Here’s my lineup for this Sunday’s £50.00 Freeroll and a few thoughts on the players I’ve selected.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs. Aston Villa (A)

I have always been a fan of Aubameyang, although from a Fantasy Football point of view, watching him out wide, rather than through the middle, is a constant frustration.

However, with Alexandre Lacazette out injured until the end of October, Aubameyang is back where he belongs – up front as a number 9, making him a must-own player in my opinion, especially given Arsenal’s fixture this week.

On Sunday the Gunners’ travel to Villa Park, with Aubameyang desperate to try to score more against his opposition than the porous defense behind him can concede.

With FIVE goals from his opening five games, Aubameyang was the first name on my Starting 11 team sheet for Sunday – taking the captain’s armband for good measure.

Mohamed Salah vs. Chelsea (A)

The debate rages on whether we should own Salah or Mane this season. For me, Salah can score against anyone and you leave him out at your peril – besides Starting 11 has no budget restrictions so I have the satisfaction of owning both!

Sunday’s tie vs Chelsea should be fantastic, two attacking teams both struggling to keep a clean sheet going at it – we should expect goals.

With Golden Boots on his mantel piece from both of the last two seasons and already on four goals this term, confidence is high – shown by the fact he has taken on 16 shots already, only three less than Aguero.

Patrick van Aanholt vs. Wolves (H)

Where will our best chance of a clean sheet come from on Sunday?  Honestly, absolutely no idea – just select a defender who might bag you an attacking return and hope for the best.

Robertson?  Alexander-Arnold?  Alonso?  Any excuse to talk about my boy van Aanholt and I’m taking it – I choose to disregard  him conceding four and scoring an own goal last weekend, no one wants to dwell on such negativity.

Instead we look at the positives.  Clean sheets have been few and far between so far this season, however Crystal Palace have managed two of them – with Wolves heads distracted by their European adventure can Palace take advantage?

Then there is the fact that PVA is always capable of arriving in the box to smash home the winning goal, like he did at Old Trafford during Gameweek 3 – all aboard?

The Punt – John McGinn vs. Arsenal (H)

One key phase of selecting a successful daily fantasy team, who will David Luiz be gifting goals to this week?  Gameweek 6, Aston Villa.

I can’t say many Villa assets have caught my eye so far this season, but one man who has is John McGinn who has shown he isn’t afraid to try his luck – eleven shots on goal so far this season.

His attacking efforts have produced one goal and one assist so far this season and he looks like the man who will be key to Villa’s survival against relegation.

Despite being 2-0 down at halftime last weekend, Watford were all over Arsenal during the second half and will count themselves unlucky only to draw – can Villa take advantage in the same way?
