Starting 11 £50 Mini League - FPL Gameweek 8

9:45am Oct 4 2019

There’s £50.00 up for grabs for Super Sunday, but can YOU pick the best 11 for our Freeroll contest?

Gameweek 8 - daily fantasy premier league football

Hello and welcome to  Starting 11‘s ‘Super Sunday’ Mini League Freeroll, which kicks off this Sunday (October 6th) at 2pm BST.

We have FOUR Premier League fixtures on offer for you on Sunday with favourable fixtures for Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea, their premium assets are key targets for Gameweek 8’s Mini League on Starting 11 this Sunday.

If Kevin De Bruyne misses out, who will take his place?

Can Aubameyang continue his goal scoring form?

Will Newcastle actually manage to score a goal?

We are pleased to announce that our friends at Starting 11 are giving us another £50.00 in cash to give away this week, via a free-entry Mini League on their iOS and Android app game, Starting 11.

We will be teaming up with FPLtips again this week, as they will be hosting the Mini League each week on the Starting 11 platform and offering it to their YouTube followers also, so stay tuned for video content on this free offering each and every week.

Before we tell you more about the weekly contest, rules and how to get involved, be sure to download the FREE iOS or Android app and register – it takes less than 60 seconds.

Below, I (@FFPundits_Drew) will show you guys my lineup in advance and offer a few thoughts on which premium and differential players I’m considering.

Once you’ve installed the app and are logged in, please head over to the ‘Mini-League’ tab and there you will see FPLTips’ contest for Sunday the 6th of October.

As we’ve said above – both the iOS and Android apps are free to download, and the £50.00 Freeroll contest is free to join and play so, there’s nothing to lose.

Raheem Sterling vs. Wolves (H)

After missing out on the 8-0 hammering of the Hornets during Gameweek 6, Sterling (as well as those Fantasy Bosses who owned him) will have been delighted to see him return to the starting 11 vs Everton – scoring a goal in the process.

Next up for Manchester City is Wolves, a side I really rate, however it’s clear that their squad depth is struggling to perform in both the Europa League and the Premier League simultaneously.

On Sunday, Wolves travel to the Etihad only three days after their away trip to face Besiktas over in Turkey – I’m expecting another big win for Manchester City.

With Sterling rested midweek in the Champions League vs Dinamo Zagreb, after only playing the final 34 minutes on Tuesday night (scoring and providing an assist in the process) – he is locked in for me and will take my captain’s armband with confidence.

Tammy Abraham vs. Southampton (A)

Abraham owners, I apologise, I hold my hands up and take full responsibility – Tammy’s blank vs Brighton was all my fault, after bringing him into my FPL team last weekend…

The Chelsea man failed to find the back of the net but not through want of trying, FOUR big chances for Abraham to score vs the Seagulls – on another day he could have been the highest scoring player of the Gameweek.

We move on, this time a trip to Southampton – who have leaked five goals during their last two games.

Abraham has had a fantastic start to the season and is only one goal behind Sergio Aguero after scoring seven times during his six starts in the Premier League.

Callum Wilson vs. Arsenal (A)

Only three players have provided either a goal or assist in all seven Premier League Gameweeks so far this season, Sergio Aguero, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Callum Wilson.

The England International is in fantastic form, coming into the game vs Arsenal having scored FIVE times in only his last four games.

Right now I would back most attackers vs Arsenal’s defence, yes they know how to score but they can’t keep their opposition out – The Gunners have only kept one clean sheet so far this season which was against the goal shy Newcastle United.

Well I’m expecting goals in this one, from Wilson and Aubameyang – I plan to have both in my Starting 11 on Sunday.
