Starting 11 daily fantasy football - Gameweek 13

Hello and welcome back, the International Break is finally over and we can once again enjoy Premier League football.

We have a bumper fixture list on Saturday with EIGHT Premier League fixtures on offer, with all those players to choose from – who will make YOUR Starting 11?

Our friends at Starting 11 have giving us another £50.00 in cash to give away this weekend, via a free-entry Mini League on their iOS and Android app game, Starting 11.

We will be teaming up with FPLtips once again this week, as they continue to host the Mini League each week on the Starting 11 platform.

Before we tell you more about the weekly contest, rules and how to get involved, be sure to download the FREE iOS or Android app and register – it takes less than 60 seconds.

Below, I (@FFPundits_Drew) will show you guys my lineup in advance and offer a few thoughts on which premium and differential players I’m considering.

Once you’ve installed the app and are logged in, please head over to the ‘Mini-League’ tab and there you will see FPLTips’ Mini-League contest for Saturday the 23rd of November.

As we’ve said above – both the iOS and Android apps are free to download, and the £50.00 Freeroll contest is free to join and play so, there’s nothing to lose.

Jamie Vardy vs Brighton (A)

The man of the moment, can you really afford NOT to have Jamie Vardy in your Starting 11 side this weekend?  With the perfect blend of form and fixture I know he was the first name on my team sheet.

Leicester City actually have more points now than they did at the same stage of their title-winning season, it’s only the apparent unstoppable force that is Liverpool which currently makes a second Premier League title seem unlikely – oh the irony if Brendan Rodgers were to be the manager preventing Liverpool’s first Premier League title?

Vardy’s eleven goals this season has taken him to the top of the goal scorers table, the striker has flourished under the management of Rodgers – form he will be looking to continue for the trip to Brighton on Saturday.

Brighton have, at times, been an exciting team to watch this season – although despite scoring goals they have managed to concede nine goals during their last six games.

Harry Kane vs. West Ham United (A)

My next pick is based on his fixture and past reputation rather than current form, something isn’t quite right at Spurs who were lucky to take a point against Sheffield United before the International Break – but can we ever completely rule out Harry Kane?

Their Premier League form is poor, that said, Spurs are flying in the Champions League and Kane arrives at The London Stadium off the back of scoring four times for England during two games.

Opponents West Ham aren’t quite as bad as Norwich, but based on current form they are the next best thing when it comes to choosing your opponents – four defeats and two draws during from their last six games, conceding THIRTEEN goals during that period.

Six goals for the season so far is low for a striker with Kane’s reputation, can he kick-start his season this weekend?

After Pochettino was given his marching orders on Tuesday evening, Spurs were quick to announce new manager Jose Mourinho ahead of this week’s trip to West Ham.

We see time and time again how players respond to a new manager, this only makes Kane more appealing to own despite Mourinho’s reputation for defensive football – he will know how to get the best out of Harry Kane.

All aboard!

Sadio Mane vs. Crystal Palace (A)

It’s almost impossible to write any fantasy football articles this season without backing a Liverpool player, the 3-1 win over Manchester City during Gameweek 12 proved again that they can beat anyone – although I  see the trip to Selhurst Park as a difficult game, I expect Klopp’s players to leave with all three points once again.

This week I haven’t gone for a double up of both Salah and Mane, there just isn’t the space in my side due to backing a couple of differentials as well as finding it next to impossible not to have James Maddison in my Starting 11.

Mane’s goal against Manchester City was his seventh in the league this season, in addition to his four assists – what’s interesting is that Mane isn’t returning in spells, his returns have been consistent this season.

Crystal Palace have conceded twice in during all of their last four Premier League games.

The Punt

Richarlison vs. Norwich (H)

Step one of how to create your Starting 11 – who are Norwich City playing this week?

The answer is the unpredictable Everton, a side I probably wouldn’t be too confident in backing generally – however Norwich look terrible and as things stand, I don’t see how they will remain playing Premier League football next season.

It’s been a quiet start to the season for Richarlison, he scored during Gameweek 12 vs Southampton – but that was only his third goal of the season.

Norwich have conceded twenty goals during their last nine games, Everton need to make this most of this opportunity before they hit a horrible fixture run for their next five games.
