Is Chelsea’s Eden Hazard’s likely to top the FPL captaincy charts in Gameweek 16?
In our Gameweek 15 Captains Poll, it was Liverpool’s Mo Salah which topped the charts with 34% of the vote.
Sadly, whilst expectations were high after bagging his 3rd double-digit haul in 4 gameweek’s, Salah managed only 5 points (10 as captain) against Brighton in Liverpool’s 1-5 away win.
Harry Kane blanked against Watford (away) in Gameweek 15.
I repeat – Harry Kane blanked in Gameweek 15.
With 20% of the vote, the Spurs frontman cause a mini meltdown on Twitter this weekend, as his 2-point return caused divided opinion and reaction amongst FPL bosses.
Last but not least – the saviour of many fantasy teams this weekend – Sir Eden Hazard.
The Belgian delivered in emphatic style against Newcastle in Gameweek 15, racking up 15 points (30 as captain), scoring 2 goals and 3 bonus points.
For many it was a gut-feeling decision to captain Hazard, whilst others played the fixture strength – regardless of your reasons, Eden Hazard was the 3rd most popular captaincy pick with 18% of the vote, so many congratulations to those who reaped the rewards.
With Gameweek 15 now a distant spec in our rear-view mirrors, we quickly turn our attention to the attractive matchups and form to follow heading in to Gameweek 16, but who will YOU entrust with the armband?
Please cast your captaincy pick to the poll below and don’t hesitate to reach out to me via twitter @FFPundits_Drew with any questions you might have ahead of Saturday’s 11:30am deadline.
