Ryan Fraser – £6.2m | 24.5% owned
Fraser returned to form with his first FPL points since Gameweek 21, producing a goal and assist in Bournemouth’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield.
The Scotland midfielder has amassed a tally of 6 goals and 10 assists this season, with each of his goal involvements coming against teams outside of the ‘top six’.
He’s returned a total of 117 points across 19 matches against those sides, at an average of 6.2 points per game, while his 11 matches against the ‘top six’ have amounted to just 2.2 points per game.
The Cherries have favourable home fixtures in both Gameweek 31 and Gameweek 33, with Newcastle and Burnley set to visit the Vitality Stadium.
10 goals conceded by Burnley in the last 4 matches is joint-worst in the league, while Newcastle have allowed opponents 14 big chances across their last 4 away from home; only Cardiff, Chelsea (each 16), Watford (17) and West Ham (20) fared worse.
Jamie Vardy – £9.0m | 11.1% owned
Jamie Vardy remains on the Watchlist following his 16-point return against Fulham in Gameweek 30, producing 2 goals and 1 assist during Leicester’s 3-1 win.
The 32-year-old has found the back of the net 5 times in the last 5 Gameweeks; a tally matched by only Sterling and Mané, with no player scoring more.
His 6 efforts on target in that time ranks joint-fourth amongst forwards, bettered by only Agüero, Rondón (each 8) and Lukaku (9).
Leicester’s schedule remains favourable, with away trips to Burnley and Huddersfield for the Foxes during Blank Gameweeks 31 and 33.
The Terriers sit bottom of the table, having conceded 12 goals in their last 6 matches; only Fulham (15) conceded more.
Callum Wilson – £6.4m | 15.5% owned
Wilson made his long-awaited return from injury during Bournemouth’s win over Huddersfield, bagging a goal and assist to take his total up to 20 FPL involvements now from 22 appearances this season.
As with Fraser, the 27-year-old has found the majority of his returns against teams outside of the ‘top six’, producing 9 goals and 9 assists across those 16 matches, at an average of 6.5 points per game.
Between Gameweeks 1 and 21, prior to injury, Wilson ranked joint-top amongst forwards with his 18 big chances, matched by only Kane and Aubameyang, while Salah (19) was the only player to record more, across all positions.
With the two home fixtures in Blank Gameweeks 31 and 33, the Bournemouth forward could now be the way to go for those of us who’ve been unable to find space for Jamie Vardy as of yet, given Leicester’s fixtures over that period are both away from home.
