Chelsea midfield Ross Barkley continues to shine, but is he a Gameweek 11 option for our FPL teams?
Welcome to another instalment of the FPL Watchlist, where we take a look at three players who impressed over the weekend and will be options to transfer in over the coming Gameweeks for both @FFPundits and @_FPLtips.
Please note that all player prices and ownership percentages were correct at the time of writing and publishing this article – we will, however, make every effort to update this twice daily.
As always ladies and gents, we have provided you with a video version of this article, which you can find above.

Ross Barkley – £5.8m | 5.7% owned
Ross Barkley was directly involved in 3 of Chelsea 4 goals during the win over Burnley this weekend, getting his name on the scoresheet for third consecutive Gameweek.
His total of 4 attempted assists in Gameweek 10 was on par with Martial and Maddison and more than Salah or Fraser managed (3).
Over the last 3 Gameweeks, 6 FPL involvements by the Chelsea midfielder is joint top amongst all players, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being the only man to match him.
Amongst midfielders, the 24-year-old’s total of 2 big chances created in the same period can be beaten by only Maddison and Hazard – with 3, and Fraser – with 4.
Chelsea have 3 home fixtures over the next 4 Gameweeks, welcoming Crystal Palace, Everton and Fulham to Stamford Bridge, so the only concern is whether Barkley can maintain his starting place and keep Kovacic out of the side.
Anthony Martial – £7.4m | 5.8% owned
Man Utd’s 2-1 win over Everton in Gameweek 10 saw Anthony Martial continue his impressive form, scoring for a third successive league game.
The left-winger provided a tally of 4 attempted assists this weekend and his total of 3 shots on target was more than Salah, Mané or even Wilson managed; with Paul Pogba being the only player to take more – with 5 efforts.
Martial has now started in each of the last 4 Premier League games, providing 4 goals and 1 assist during that period, giving him a 62.5% goal involvement.
His total of 6 efforts on target in that time ranks joint 5th amongst all players, with only Walcott, Salah (7), Sigurdsson (8) and Pogba (9) taking more.
Man Utd’s fixtures are somewhat mixed, with away trips to Bournemouth, Man City and Southampton on the horizon, but they face Crystal Palace and Fulham in 2 of their next 3 games at Old Trafford.
Lukasz Fabianski – £4.5m | 13.5% owned
West Ham were moments away from their 2nd clean sheet of the season, conceding in the 89th minute to draw the game with Leicester in Gameweek 10.
But 7 saves by Lukasz Fabianski saw the 33-year-old return 2 bonus points, for a respectable score of 6 points.
Despite failing to keep a clean sheet in their last 4 outings, the Hammers have only conceded 1 goal in each and they’ve faced Man Utd and Spurs in that time.
They were also down to 10 men for most of the match against Leicester at the weekend, after Mark Noble’s sending off in the first half.
So, a total of 7 big chances conceded during that run is fairly impressive; it’s on par with Chelsea and just one more than Liverpool have allowed.
West Ham now enjoy a long run of promising fixtures, welcoming Burnley, Cardiff and Crystal Palace to the London Stadium over the next 6 Gameweeks, with Man City being the only top 6 side they face between now and January.
