Players from Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City catch the eye, with Blank Gameweek 31 just around the corner
After a frustrating Gameweek 29, the FPL Watchlist returns with a look at three players who could potentially make their way into FPLtips’ and FFPundits’ team over the coming Gameweeks.
As always, we have provided you with a video version of this article, which you can find above for your Gameweek 30 viewing pleasure.

Gonzalo Higuaín – £9.6m | 3.9% owned
Gonzalo Higuaín found his 3rd goal in 5 league games for Chelsea, firing a league-high total of 6 shots from inside the box during the Gameweek and also producing 3 attempted assists.
The Argentine has returned an average of 5.4 points per match and only Agüero (4.0) has taken more than his 3.8 shots per game over the last 6 Gameweeks, amongst forwards.
Aside from Liverpool, Chelsea are the only other ‘top six’ side with a fixture in Gameweek 31 and the Blues are also guaranteed their Gameweek 33 match with West Ham, while Spurs and Man City could still see their fixtures postponed that weekend due to the FA Cup.
Jamie Vardy – £8.9m | 5.7% owned
Vardy continued his impressive scoring record under new managers to find Leicester’s first goal since Brendan Rodgers took charge, in a 2-1 defeat at Watford.
The 32-year-old has found the back of the net in 3 of his last 4 league outings; only Agüero, Lukaku and Zaha (each 4) have scored more goals during that time, amongst forwards.
The Foxes have a favourable schedule over the next 4 Gameweeks, starting with a visit from Fulham in Gameweek 30, a side that have conceded a league-high total of 14 goals in the last 6 Gameweeks.
Along with Leicester, Fulham and Burnley are the only other sides to fail to keep a single clean sheet across their last 6 matches and the Cottagers (77) are the only side to allow opponents more shots inside the box than Huddersfield’s 65 over the same period.
Andy Robertson – £6.9m | 36.9% owned
Liverpool won’t be happy with the result at Everton but they kept a 4th consecutive clean sheet, allowing their Gameweek 29 opponents not a single big chance.
Only Man City (6) have kept more than their 5 clean sheets in 2019, while only Man Utd (6) and Man City (4) have shipped fewer than Liverpool’s 7 goals conceded.
The Scotland international has provided 5 assists since the new year; more than any other defender, beating Kolasinac (4), Schlupp, Pereira, Alexander-Arnold and Azpilicueta (each 3).
For those of us planning to use the Free Hit chip in Gameweek 32, we can ignore Liverpool’s meeting with Spurs that Gameweek and focus on the home fixture with Burnley in Gameweek 30, as well as upcoming away trips to Fulham and Southampton.
Across the last 4 matches, no side have scored fewer goals than Fulham’s 2, while only Bournemouth (4) and Everton (1) have registered fewer than Southampton’s 5 big chances.
