Two IN Two OUT - Gameweek 25 - FPL & Daily Fantasy Picks

Winter may have gripped the UK this week, but the Son is shining once again over South London

STARTING11.IO - DAILY FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL

It’s Two IN and Two OUT for @FFPundits_Drew this week as we look at the transfer activity in the FPL market, and how those trends may or may not affect our daily fantasy Starting 11 lineups for Gameweek 25.

While FPL managers have their heads turned by the first DOUBLE GAMEWEEK of the season, on Starting 11 we can concentrate on the players who Fantasy Bosses SHOULD be signing – rather than those chasing the out of form Manchester City and Everton players.

Aguero MAYBE playing twice during Gameweek 25 on FPL might seem appealing, but on Starting 11 that’s just the one tough fixture vs Arsenal.

For all you FPL managers out there – as well as those of you playing Starting 11 daily fantasy with us each week, I hope this week’s sections give you plenty of food for thought when locking in your FPL and daily fantasy lineups.

The NEW Starting 11 iOS and Android apps can be downloaded for free, below and we’ve a £25 1st place prize up for grabs in our FPLTips Mini League this Sunday.

Two IN

Heung-Min Son vs. Newcastle (H)

A defeat at home to Manchester United, an injury to Harry Kane and then waving goodbye to the leagues form player as he left to represent South Korea – Gameweek 22 was a somber affair for Spurs fans.

Well Kane may still be out, but after South Korea were eliminated from the Aisa Cup – Son is back after missing only one Premier League game and celebrated his return with a goal.

This week Spurs are at home to Newcastle and already 180k FPL managers have transferred Son back in, ignoring the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterlings having a double Gameweek.

Pochettino will be relying on Son to continue the form that has seen him score six goals and provide four assists from only his last six games, as a non-owner on FPL I’m worried – as a Starting 11 manager he’s straight into my lineup.

Raul Jimenez vs. Everton (A)

With a return every few games, FPL managers have been pleased with the returns they have been treated to from their budget striker – Jimenez’s six goals and seven assists was more than many expected at this stage from the Wolves man this season.

After Gameweek 24, the bandwagon has begun to build momentum, a brace for the Mexican in the 3-0 win over West Ham meant enough was enough for many FPL bosses who couldn’t miss out on any more returns – 90k managers have transferred him in.

This week Jimenez faces Everton who continue to frustrate me as a Fantasy manager, they still pick up the odd win, Richarlison still bags the odd goal – but ultimately they are playing poorly.

Wolves on the other hand enter the game having won both of their last two league games and scored seven goals in the process, morale is high, @FPL_Fly is happy and I expect another positive result for them.

Two OUT

Lucas Digne vs. Wolves (H)

Lucas Digne has been backed on Twitter for weeks now, great fixtures for Everton, attacking returns – an attacking fullback all Fantasy bosses crave.

FPL and Starting 11 sides were filled with the Frenchman and how does he rewards us?  An own goal and a red card in consecutive Gameweeks.

We are a fickle bunch us Fantasy bosses and those sorts of returns are unforgivable, it’s no surprise that 226k FPL managers have rage transferred him out already.

A ban, a blank on the horizon – he has to go!

Eden Hazard vs. Huddersfield (H)

No goals vs Crystal Palace or Southampton, but it’s Newcastle next so I’ll keep him one more week – four games without a goal, but it’s Bournemouth next so I’ll keep him one more week.

Enough is enough, FPL bosses have spoken and the rage transfers have begun – not even a home fixture vs Huddersfield is enough to save him after Chelsea’s 4-0 defeat to Bournemouth.

Perhaps some Double Gameweek 25 tunnel vision has tipped the scales here, Hazard is an easy switch to the likes of Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.

As for Starting 11, well  it’s a home fixture vs Huddersfield – a side who have lost eleven and drawn one during their last twelve games.  I’ll give him one more week.
